The Atkins Group takes home 14 awards and ‘Best of Show’ at 2017 American Advertising Federation Awards
At The Atkins Group, we know one thing to be true: great clients give us the opportunity to do great work. And this year, that great work came out on top.
We have the privilege of working with trailblazers in the travel and tourism space, innovators in the healthcare realm and all around creative thinkers who inspire us every single day. From designing interactive consumer websites and producing film, video and sound television pieces to crafting print ads, great work is easy to come by when your roster is loaded with great clients. And boy, do we have a stacked roster.
There’s something to be said about doing work you love, with people you love to work with. When you love what you do, it shows. It shows in the faces of happy team members and sometimes, it shows in emails from happy clients. And when you’re really lucky, it shows in the form of recognition -- a shiny, gold ADDY.
This year, we were really lucky. 14 ADDY’s and “Best of Show” lucky, to be exact. Here’s a rundown of work that received recognition on behalf of our outstanding clients:
It’s really sweet to take home the “Best of Show” at this competition. It was given to us on behalf of our client, the South Padre Island Convention & Visitors Bureau, one of Texas’ most beautiful destinations and a jewel in the crown of Texas destinations.

And, we don’t stop at destination marketing; a creative leader in healthcare, we work hard to educate consumers about the very best in the business -- St. David’s Healthcare. Receiving awards for developing a new brand in the form of television spots, we’re proud to help spread St. David’s message to consumers about what we already know to be true - the best is here.

It’s true, we’re humbled. We don’t come to work everyday hoping to win awards, but when our peers recognize what we’re doing for our amazing clients, it sure makes the job that much sweeter.
